As golden autumn arrives, the pear orchards in Tuanshan Village, Gaozhuang Sub-district, Laiwu District, Jinan, are abuzz with activity. Continuous rows of pear trees intertwine with branches and leaves, while plump yellow pears dot the green foliage, filling the air with a rich fruity aroma. Farmers weave through the trees, busy picking, sorting, and packing the pears—an atmosphere of harvest joy is palpable everywhere.
Recently, eleven international friends from Thailand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Serbia visited Qingshiguan Village and Maoshaowan Village successively, decoding Laiwu's unique cultural genes amid the vicissitudes of the Great Wall of Qi ruins and the vivid scenes of life of ancient villages.

The technique used for drying crimson snapper is a traditional way of preserving fish in Danzhou, Hainan Province. The raw material, crimson snapper, is descaled, gutted, cleaned, and salted before being sun-dried. The final product is convenient and can be stored for a long time. The drying technique was included in Danzhou's list of municipal-level intangible cultural heritage in May 2022, and continues to play an important role in the local marine food culture.

According to China Railway Jinan Group Co., Ltd., the 62-day 2025 summer travel period concluded on August 31. During this time, the China Railway Jinan Group transported a total of 47.518 million passengers, averaging 766,000 daily, marking a 6.4% increase compared to the same period last year.
