Kangaroo Kids Home enriches summer break for kids of workers in new forms of employment

During the summer break, to address challenges including inadequate childcare and social integration for children of food delivery riders, couriers and other workers in new forms of employment within the community, the Tongyuan Public Welfare Summer Camp was launched at Yuehu Community in Licang District, Qingdao, Shandong Province, partnered with Qingdao Collaborator Social Work Development Center, Meituan Public Welfare Foundation and other organizations. Hosted under the “Kangaroo Kids Home” initiative, the camp offers theme courses covering natural aesthetic education, scientific exploration, environmental practices and career experience, enabling children of workers in new forms of employment to enjoy a joyful and rewarding summer vacation.
