Conference on social etiquette and civility in rural areas kicks off in Linyi

The 2026 China Conference on Social Etiquette and Civility in Rural Areas themed "Civility Builds Better Rural Areas" kicked off in Linyi, Shandong on July 16. Relevant rural civility construction cases and the 2026 National Report on Social Etiquette and Civility in Rural Areas were released at the main venue. Five parallel sessions will be held, namely Popularizing the Party’s Innovative Theories across Villages and Households, Inheriting Fine Farming Civilization, Deepening Custom Reform in Rural Areas, Boosting the Development of Rural Culture, and Fostering Rural Civility Through Urban-Rural Collaboration. The conference will also stage a showcase of outstanding national performances featuring achievements in improving rural customs.
