The opening ceremony of the 20th Qi Culture Festival and the 8th Qi Culture and Jixia Studies Summit was held in Linzi District, Zibo on September 24th.

At the ceremony, Zibo of Shandong, jingzhou of Hubei, Baoji of Shaanxi and Houma of Shanxi, featuring Qi culture, Chu culture, Qin culture and Jin culture respectively, jointly signed the cooperation agreement for the application of the "Eastern Zhou Dynasty Capital City Ruins" as a World Heritage Site. Meanwhile, series of performances related to traditional Chinese culture were also held.

The Festival will last until October. It has organized many activities related to the Qi culture, including the 8th Qi Culture and Jixia Studies Summit, the 2023 Great Wall National Cultural Park Construction (Qi Great Wall) High-Quality Development Conference, etc.
