Recently, the Thai students’ tour to Jining, themed on "Friendly Shandong, Remarkable Shandong ‘I love you’", visited Jining Museum of Han Dynasty Culture to explore the art of rubbing.

Jining, as the birthplace of Confucian culture, is also a region with a dense distribution of stone relief. The stone relief here not only appeared early, but also has a long duration, rich subject matter and diverse carving techniques. The museum, with 667 collections, has a garden-style design and showcases distinctive rural features. Among them, the most unique collection is the stone carving of Han Dynasty.

Through the silks of rubbing, international students felt the ancient techniques and appreciated the unique charm of the rubbings in Jining Museum of Han Dynasty Culture.

As a non-state-owned museum, Jining Museum of Han Dynasty Culture is attractive to cultural scholars from home and abroad and receives more than 10,000 visitors annually.
