On August 28th, media outlets from Gunsan, South Korea, visited Qixia of Yantai City to explore the charm of handcrafting.

Mou's Manor, located in Qixia, Yantai, is the largest, most complete, and typical landlord manor in northern China. The scenic area has organized and planned a series of folk customs activities, allowing the delegation to experience the unique style of Mou's Manor.

Walking along the slate road, the media outlets came to the "Xizhonglai" gate of the manor under the shade of ancient locust trees, which was the most prominent gate of the Mou’s Manor. The lifelike and exquisite patterns on the gate are truly breathtaking.

“Jiaodong huabobo”, a kind of flower-shaped steamed buns, is a typical intangible cultural heritage in Yantai, which can be traced back to the Han Dynasty and is still popular in Jiaodong Peninsula. The delegation also have a great experience of making huabobo. With prepared molds, the journalists of the delegation learned how to make huabobo in various auspicious patterns.
