The event of “Friendly Shandong Remarkable Shandong I Love You”international students experiencing Shandong was held in Linzi district, Zibo city. International students and foreign teachers from countries of Morocco, Seychelles and Kyrgyzstan visited the Museum of Qi Culture and the Football Museum to get a deeper understanding of the Qi Culture.

Linzi used to be the capital of Qi. Entering the Museum of Qi Culture, they were impressed by the majestic lobby, surrounded by sculptures of emperors and loyal ministers.

Afterwards, international students and foreign teachers visited the eight sections of the museum, including Early Qi’s Civilization, the Qi of West Zhou and Qi in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period.

Cuju is an athletic and recreational activity in ancient China that dates back over 2000 years. It is considered as the origin of world football. In the Football Museum, they learned about the origin of football and historic evolution of cuju in China.

“I have never seen football like this and I could have never imagined that Linzi is the birthplace of football. The museum holds a variety of exquisite exhibits and I’ll bring my classmates to visit it for sure”said LAMKHANTAR THOURIYA, an international student from Morocco.
