On August 25th, expats from countries of Russia, Bangladesh and Yemen visited the Cowherd and Weaver Girl Scenic Area to explore the love story spanning thousands of years and experience the "Chinese romance".

There is a saying in Yiyuan, Zibo: the Milky Way in the sky, the Yihe River on the earth. The Weaver Girl Cave and Cowherd Temple are built on the banks of the Yihe River, facing each other across the river. It is the only cultural relic of the legend "The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl" that corresponds to the actual scene, interpreting a love legend of a thousand years.
There are two ancient ginkgo trees on the south of the Weaver Girl Cave, with lush branches covered by red blessing ribbons. Expats sincerely wrote their love wishes on the ribbons and tied them to branches.

Expats went through the 1,314 steps along the mountain road in Hanfu to experience the traditional Chinese culture.
"Today, I learned about the love culture of the East in the Cowherd and Weaver Girl Scenic Area. I look forward to visiting this place again with my friends!” said IOAI from Yemen.
