The Shandong Tourism Promotion Meeting and “Hometown of Confucius, Friendly Shandong” Tourism Photo Exhibition were held in Singapore, inviting Singaporean friends to explore the historical culture, natural scenery, and folk customs of Qilu land.

Shandong and Singapore enjoy a strong economic and trade partnership, with well-established transportation links, deep business connections, and close personal relationships. The two regions have a solid foundation for cooperation in the areas of culture and tourism.

Singaporean officials have stated that Shandong Province is a lively and dynamic region with rich natural and cultural resources. They aim to strengthen cultural, tourism, and economic exchanges and cooperation with Shandong, in order to jointly promote the robust development of the international tourism industry.

During the event, Shandong's cultural and tourism resources were showcased, and four theme tourist routes were introduced. Shandong extends a warm invitation to Singaporean tourists to visit Shandong and experience the charm of its hospitable people and the birthplace of Confucius.
