An online exchange meeting was held recently between China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Zibo Committee and Malaysia Halal Assurance Systems and Quality Assessment Corporation. Li Xiuqing, president of the committee and chief of relevant departments sparked up communications with Lin Hongjin, founder and executive president of the corporation.

Based on the basic situation of both sides, the meeting focused on bilateral cooperation such as Halal food cooperation among Belt and Road countries, safe production chain and Halal food testing, identification and production training. Also, they explored how to work jointly to promote products of Zibo City to southeastern Asian countries.

Ye Qingfang, chairman of Jinke Zuoan (Beijing) and secretary-general of the Digital Economy Commission of Zhongguancun Belt and Road Industrial Promotion Association attended the meeting.
