In the high-standard farmlands of Handian Village in Zouping City, East China’s Shandong Province, several large pointer-type irrigation machinery are seen spraying wheat to ensure its growth.
During the spring plowing preparation, Zouping has carried out precise water use, efficient irrigation and scientific management of high-standard farmlands to guarantee agricultural water demand and ensure stable grain harvest.
Up to now, a total of 752,300 mu of high-standard farmlands have been built in Zouping city, of which water-saving irrigation area accounts for 87%.
