According to the press conference held on Thursday, the World Estuarine Cities Conference for Cooperation and Development will fall on Nov. 10, 2022 in Dongying, China’s Shandong.

The World Estuarine Cities Partner Program will be launched through the conference. Through this platform, the province will carry out extensive international cooperation in the fields of economy and trade, science and technology, further enhance mutual understanding and recognition among countries, nations and civilizations, and elaborate on China’s vision of “building a community with a shared future for mankind”, thus laying a solid public support for international exchanges and cooperation.

Dongying is not only an estuary city of the Yellow River, but also an open and inclusive city with high-level opening up. The gathering of the estuarine cities in Dongying and the establishment of International Estuarine Cities Cooperation Organization will give a new definition and connotation of the word “Estuarine City”, which is of great significance.

Through the joint efforts of all participating cities, the conference will be built into a high-level platform for foreign exchanges and cooperation of Shandong province, a beautiful characteristic city name card of Dongying City, and help the construction of a new highland of opening up in the whole province.
