From March 17 to 26, the Yantai business delegation visited Singapore, South Korea and Japan for economic and trade talks. Fruitful results have been achieved including having talks with more than 210 representatives of enterprises and business associations, visiting 13 of the Fortune 500 enterprises and multinational corporations, and signing contracts on 28 cooperation mechanism and projects.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by local enterprises, financial institutions and business associations. Some overseas enterprises said that they are very optimistic about Yantai's "development opportunities" and will arrange field visits to Yantai in the near future to promote the implementation of cooperative projects.

The economic and trade activity will play a positive role in promoting Yantai to seize the opportunity of Shandong's construction of a green, low-carbon and high-quality development pilot zone, further expanding the cooperation with Singapore, South Korea and Japan in the fields of economy, trade, science and technology, promoting the green and low-carbon transformation of energy, industry and city, and striving to achieve the goal of being a city with a GDP of one trillion yuan.
