International students are learning paper-cutting in Yuncheng County, Heze City, E China’s Shandong province, to feel the charm of traditional Chinese culture.

The paper-cutting art is a treasure of Chinese folk art and one of the excellent traditional Chinese cultures, known as "art on the fingertips".

International students from countries such as the US, Pakistan and South Africa learned to cut the Xi pattern with the demonstration of the inheritor. David, from Pakistan, said, "I am very glad to participate in this activity. I learned traditional Chinese art from the paper-cutting teacher and felt the charm of traditional Chinese culture."

The “Friendly Shandong, Remarkable Shandong ‘I Love You’” activity integrates elements including Chinese culture, intangible cultural heritage and traditional folk customs, aiming to spread Chinese culture worldwide through a series of experiences.
