Hi, Confucius | International online influencers visit Confucius Temple

Members of the "Hi, Confucius" International Online Influencers' Study Tour in Nishan visited the Kong Family Mansion and Confucius Temple in Qufu, China's Shandong province on November 19.

In Confucius Temple, young people from Kenya, Myanmar, Nigeria, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and China enjoyed the ancient pines and cypresses and patiently listened to the guide's explanation, savoring the thousand-year long Confucian culture.

Confucius Temple, also known as the temple to the greatest sage, is a temple to worship Confucius. Together with the Forbidden City in Beijing and the Summer Resort in Chengde, Hebei Province, they are known as the three major ancient architectural complexes in China. The temple, integrating history, architecture, culture, art, calligraphy, stone carvings, ancient trees, cultural relics and relics in one, is the crystallization of the wisdom of the ancient Chinese people.

"This is my first time to visit the Confucius Temple. The trees here are really impressive. They have a long history, and I feel that they are telling us all kinds of stories." Ma Ding, from Uzbekistan, said, "I didn't expect the dragon pillars on Dacheng Hall were carved by craftsmen. I am very surprised!"

With a long history and splendid culture, Qufu boasts a splendid cultural heritage. There are more than 800 cultural relics of various kinds, among which there are more than 1,300 ancient buildings of Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, more than 5,000 stone tablets since the Western Han Dynasty, more than 17,000 ancient and famous trees, more than 110,000 cultural relics, and more than 260,000 documents and archives of the Ming and Qing Dynasties of the Kong Family.

Zheng Zewei, from Nigeria, said, "China is developing very fast and Chinese cities are very modern. It is really amazing to see so many ancient Chinese buildings inside a city. I like the place very much. I've also heard many stories about Confucius which is very helpful for my life and study. It is really a wonderful tour!"
