The “Friendly Shandong Remarkable Shandong” promotional event, jointly organized by China Media Group (CMG) and Shandong Provincial People’s Government, was held on September 8 in Beijing.

The brand of “Friendly Shandong Remarkable Shandong”, jointly fostered by CMG and Shandong, is an innovative practice of building China’s own brands, and will contribute to the construction of Chinese brands in the new era.

In recent years, Shandong has made solid progress in building itself into a strong modern socialist province in the new era. Shandong has implemented the quality strategy and launched a batch of “quality products" . “Friendly Shandong Remarkable Shandong” is becoming a beautiful name card of high-quality development.

Characteristic products of “Remarkable Shandong” were promoted at the event such as Yantai Apple, Weifang Fruit Pit Carving, world's first 100,000-metric-ton intelligent fishery vessel Guoxin No 1, and 5G intelligent patrol robots.

Representative high-tech products made in Shandong were also introduced including Weichai diesel engine with thermal efficiency of 51.09%, CRRC Sifang high-speed maglev train, Goertek VR/AR products, and Wego surgical robots.

12 enterprises, including Haier Group, Luhua Group, Weichai Power, Inspur Group, Yantai Changyu, and CRRC Sifang, were awarded the first batch of “Remarkable Shandong” corporate identity certificates of authorization.

Shandong will continue to strengthen the construction of "Remarkable Shandong", promote high-quality development via brand standardization, cultivate more industrial, regional brands and geographical indication products with brand systematization, and help more "quality products" to go global and become world famous with brand internationalization.
