Landes goose, originating in France, is recognized as the special goose species for making of foie gras. In 1980s, this special goose species was introduced to Linqu county, and developed well here.
After graduation, the 26-year-old Gao Yuanliang went back to his hometown to start a business. Based on the county’s tradition of goose raising, he established breeding cooperatives and processing factories, and sold Linqu-made foie gras across China.
At the same time, in order to solve the problem of domestically-made foie gras products can not be exported, he built a modern production workshop in line with EU standards, exporting the local-made foie gras worldwide.
