Haiyang wrapped-flour noodle, also known as noodle with filling, or wrapped-flour soup, is a kind of noodle made of white wheat flour as the outer layer and black sweet potato flour as the inner filling. The cooking of this kind of noodle is believed to originate in Jinzhong, Shanxi Province in ancient times and was introduced to Haiyang County-level City, Yantai City, Shandong Province in Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 AD) with migrants from Jinzhong.
