According to Shandong Development and Reform Commission, Shandong has maintained a good momentum in the construction of major implementation projects in the first 10 months of this year. As of the end of October, 419 of the 581 provincial major projects have started construction, with an investment of 273.12 billion yuan completed; among these, 383, or 99.5% of the 385 implementation projects have started construction, with an investment of 251.35 billion yuan completed, 21.1 percentage points higher than the annual plan.

Accelerated progress has been made in all the four fields that provincial major projects concern, namely major industrial projects, major platform projects, major livelihood projects and major infrastructure construction projects, where investments of 140.12 billion yuan, 32.48 billion yuan, 28.98 billion yuan and 49.77 billion yuan have been completed respectively, accounting for 131.9%, 131.1%, 118.3% and 96.7% respectively of the annual plan.
