The 4th China International Import Expo (CIIE) will be held in Shanghai from November 5 to 10. This year, the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province is organizing a total of 69 time-honored brands and enterprises of intangible cultural heritage in the province to participate in the cultural exchange activities of the CIIE. At present, the work of design and construction of the exhibition is proceeding in an orderly manner, and is expected to be completed by November 2.

For this year's CIIE, the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province has set up two exhibition zones, namely the Shandong Time-honored Brand & Intangible Cultural Heritage Experience Hall and the Shandong Great Business Partner: Boshan National Cultural Export Base, aiming to demonstrate and spread Shandong culture through the cultural exchange platform of CIIE, enhance the enterprises’ brand influence, and help them open up market.

The Shandong Time-honored Brand & Intangible Cultural Heritage Experience Hall is located at D-L217-219, Hall 6, Diamond Building, on the 8-meter floor of the exhibition hall, covering an area of 774 square meters. The hall consists of three themed sections, namely Delicious Shandong, Beautiful Shandong and Healthy Shandong. 57 time-honored brands and enterprises of intangible cultural heritage will be displaying the province’s famous snacks, specialty products, wine, condiments, arts and crafts, clothing, tonics, authentic medicinal materials, and traditional Chinese medicine culture, etc.

With traditional Chinese red as its theme color, the Shandong Great Business Partner: Boshan National Cultural Export Base exhibition zone will showcase the brilliant pottery culture created by Boshan craftsmen with wisdom and hard work, using a Chinese style of art exhibition.
