The “2021 Dialogue with Shandong - Japan Shandong Industrial Cooperation and Exchange”series will kick off on August 13 in Jinan, Shandong province, according to a press conference held Tuesday by the Information Office of Shandong Provincial People’s Conference.

With the theme of “A new vision for China-Japan economic and trade cooperation under the framework of RCEP”, the event will be jointly hosted by Shandong Provincial People’s Government,China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Japan External Trade Organization and will last till November 30.

The event aims to further consolidate the multi-level long-term cooperation mechanism between Shandong and Japanese local governments, business associations, scientific research institutions and enterprises based on the new development pattern, continue to deepen the local economic and trade cooperation between China and Japan, achieve mutual win-win results, and help Shandong to build a new highland for opening-up.

The series of activities will be held in a combination of online and offline ways and consist of theme seminars, series of industry exchange, Japan(Shandong)import commodities expo, and Shandong provincial capital economic circle and Japan cooperation matchmaking meeting.
