The China (Shandong)-ASEAN SME Conference for Cooperation and Development opens on May 28 in Jinan, E China’s Shandong province. At the opening ceremony, the ASEAN-Shandong (Dezhou) SME Alliance and Shandong Research Center on ASEAN were inaugurated.

Dezhou city and ASEAN-China Center jointly signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Two-way Exchange between Dezhou Municipal People’s Government and China-ASEAN Center. Shandong-based enterprises signed 19 cooperation projects with ASEAN enterprises.

The secretariat of Shandong (Dezhou)-ASEAN SME Alliance is located in Dezhou, aiming to build a platform for the cooperation of small and medium-sized enterprises in Shandong province and ASEAN, and facilitate the practical cooperation between Shandong province, Dezhou city and ASEAN countries.

The Shandong Research Center on ASEAN is set up in Dezhou University, which will further collect relevant academic research resources to improve the academic research level of ASEAN in Shandong.
