The 2020 National Mass Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week, theming on “Innovation leads entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship drives employment”, is scheduled to be held from Oct. 15 to 21. The launching ceremony of Shandong Provincial Mass Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week will kick off on Oct 15 in Linyi, Shandong province. The provincial event focuses on the effectiveness and efficiency, with featured activities as the carrier, to create an important platform to promote employment ability, expand employment space and accelerate the transformation of innovation and entrepreneurship achievements through online and on-site activities.

The event will simultaneously carry out a series of activities in the form of “1+N” across the province. “1” refers to the launching ceremony held in the main venue of Linyi, while “N” means special activities held in the 15 Shandong cities except Qingdao, such as the high-end summit, innovation and entrepreneurship contests, and road shows. In line with the latest requirements for COVID-19 prevention and control, all activities in Qingdao will be held online.

The innovation and entrepreneurship week will focus on expanding employment space, developing new modes and new forms of business, and optimizing business environment for promoting the entrepreneurship and employment. Through a series of activity, it will provide innovators and entrepreneurs with a platform of idea exchange and service docking.
