On Sept. 23, the online omnimedia tour with the theme of “poems and dreams on the cloud” kicked off in Yantai, focusing on its cultural and tourism resources. More than 30 media outlets including People's Daily Online, Xinhuanet, CNR News met online and jointly launched the online tour.

The event is hosted by Yantai Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and organized by China Shandong Website. With its main venue in Yantai and branch venues at each participating media, the media tour will take the form of a combination of online and offline channels, and the whole process of the event will be broadcast live.

As the culture and tourism industry has been facing critical challenges in the year of 2020, the media tour aims to comprehensively display the gorgeous tourism resources and profound cultural heritage of Yantai as a national historical and cultural city and China's outstanding tourism city, further explore the connotation of the brand of “Coastal Wonderland, Fresh Yantai”, and strive to improve Yantai's external publicity, reputation and influence.
