26th Shandong-Taiwan Economic and Trade Fair kicks off in Weifang

The 26th Shandong-Taiwan Economic and Trade Fair was inaugurated in Weifang, China’s Shandong Province, on Sept. 1, 2020. The fair aims to promote industrial cooperation between Shandong and Taiwan, and serve to stabilize orders, trade and investment. It will last until April 4.

The 26th Shandong-Taiwan Economic and Trade Fair is the largest and highest-level cross-Straits economic and trade exchange event held on the mainland since the outbreak of COVID-19. More than 2,000 business people from both sides of the Taiwan Straits and 1,546 enterprises participated in the fair.

Under the theme of "New Strategy, New Opportunities and New Situation", the 26th Shandong-Taiwan Economic and Trade Fair will promote cooperation in key industries such as medical care and health, new-generation information technology, modern agriculture, intelligent manufacturing and integration of industry and education.

Co-hosted by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council and Shandong Provincial People’s Government, Shandong-Taiwan Economic and Trade Fair has been successfully held for 25 sessions so far, becoming an important platform for cross-Straits economic and trade exchanges and cooperation.
