Shandong province held a State-owned Enterprises’ Countdown Reform Promotion Meeting in Jinan, the capital of Shandong on January 12, 2019. Ling Wen, vice governor of Shandong Province attended and addressed the meeting.

The meeting affirmed the achievements made in the past year in the reform and development of stated-owned enterprises and made new arrangements for the “countdown” reform of state-owned enterprises. “2020 is the crucial year for Shandong to tackle key tasks. “In order to further enhance the consciousness and sense of urgency of work, the provincial state-owned assets and enterprises system should have a new understanding and comprehension of the “countdown” reform from the perspectives of carrying out the major deployment of the fourth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, giving play to the role of state-owned enterprises to better serve the overall situation of the province, and solving the deep-seated problems of state-owned enterprises,” said Ling Wen.

He stressed that the provincial state-owned assets and enterprises system should uphold the leadership of the Party and strengthen the Party building, vigorously promote the modernization of the state-owned enterprises management system and management ability and modernization of assets supervision system and regulation ability, optimize and adjust the state-owned capital structure, comprehensively strengthen the organization and leadership of the reform and development of state-owned assets and enterprises, and spare no efforts to complete all relevant tasks, so as to make new and bigger contributions for Shandong to realize the goal of spearheading and breaking new ground.
