The Belt and Road Thematic Forum for Energy Cooperation, which is sponsored by Qingdao Municipal People’s Government and Belt and Road Energy Cooperation Website, was held on Dec. 18 in Beijing, capital of China. During the event, Qingdao High-tech Zone signed the strategic cooperation agreement with China Electronic System Technological Co. Ltd. (CESTC) to further the cooperation in the fields of modern digital city, network security and intelligent manufacturing. Wang Bo, secretary of Chengyang District Party Committee, and Wang Xiaoliang, senior vice president of CESTC attended the signing ceremony.

According to the agreement, Qingdao High-tech Zone and CESTC will deepen cooperation and give full play to the advantages in network security and urban construction, focus on the cooperation in modern digital city, carry out the operation work of the construction of modern digital city, improve the level of urban public service that benefits the people, and promote the modernization of urban governance system and governance capacity. In terms of digital industry, the two sides will make every effort to build a benchmark of digital industrial park in the eastern Shandong to make contributions to the fast development of Qingdao High-tech Zone’s digital economy and the formation of new growth pole.
