A special college promotional event and job fair was held on October 18 in the Ocean University of China, east China's Shandong province.

More than 60 Hongdao-based enterprises and institutions participated in the event including Qingdao Institute of Industrial Software, Qingdao Academy of Intelligent Industries, Qingdao SIASUN Robot and Automation Co., Ltd., and Qingdao Hongjian Investment Co., Ltd, providing nearly 300 jobs such as data development engineer, operation and maintenance engineer, ecological project researcher, legal auditor, investment manager and electrical design engineer. More than one thousand talents attended the job fair, and over 200 applicants reached employment intention with enterprises.

In recent years, adhering to the development idea of "relying on talent to promote innovation and development", Qingdao High-tech Zone is committed to building a highland of talent of the city of Qingdao. In terms of supporting policy, Qingdao High-tech Zone has set up an annual fund of 100 million and fully implemented the dual-driven selection model based on "talent + project"; as for the construction of talent attraction platforms, the zone has fostered an overseas talent attraction network covering Asia, North America, Europe and Australia. Up to now, a total of 33 academicians and more than 110 domestic and overseas high-level experts have been introduced, ranking first in Qingdao. More than 1,000 overseas talents have been introduced to Qingdao, and the total number of high-level talents is nearly 5,000.
