Recently, foreigners from Pakistan, Uganda, Laos, Chile and Thailand went to Shunjin Community to make moon cakes and celebrate the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival.

The community prepared the powers, fillings, molds and other materials for making snow skin moon cakes. Snow skin moon cakes are easier to make than the traditional moon cakes. The baker made one first to give them a demonstration. Then the foreigners began to make their own favorite style of moon cakes and it doesn’t seem very difficult for them.

Sonia Sajjad from Pakistan said, "Today, I learned how to make moon cakes. For me, it was a great experience, and I tasted them before I packed them. I really enjoyed it." As she spoke, she showed the reporter her masterpiece.

Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most important traditional festivals for Chinese people. It is a time when every family looks forward to family reunion. It's very festive," said Nicole from Chile.

The activity provided a great opportunity for foreigners to know better about traditional Chinese culture and arouse their love for Chinese culture.
