A QR code in Chinese language for Karl Marx's tomb at London's Highgate Cemetery has been launched online by the China National Tourist Office in England.

The newly released non-commercial QR code is both practical and informative. It provides access to basic information and a map, visitor's codes and rules, and the history of Marx's tomb. It also has the Chinese translation of Engels's well known remarks made at Marx's funeral in 1883.

Dr. Ian Dungavell, the chief executive of Friends of the Highgate Cemetery Trust, said, "we are thrilled to be working with the China National Tourist Office to provide better information so that our Chinese visitors can enjoy and appreciate this exceptional place, and in particular to understand more about Karl Marx."

Xue Ling, director of China National Tourist Office London said the launch marks the final of the two-month long "China Weeks: When culture and tourism blend," and a new beginning of a partnership to enable Chinese visitors to Karl Marx's grave an enhanced experience of cultural and historical touches.
