Hanjia Folk Customs Village offer study-oriented tourist courses on fishing and salt culture

Recently, students of Hongdao Central Primary School paid a visit to Hanjia Folk Customs Village. During their trip, the students visited Yuzu Langjun Temple, Temple of Susha Temple and Langjun Port, and learned to make woodblocks and weave traditional fishing net to get a better understand of the traditional customs of Jiaozhou Bay area and historical changes of Hongdao Economic Zone.

Han Qilong, a student of Hongdao Central Primary School, said, “What we usually read in the books is not very detailed, but now we know how profound the Chinese traditional culture is after the visiting.”

As the first batch of study-oriented tourist bases in Shandong, Hanjia Folk Customs Village has designed the research courses that meet the current needs of improving the comprehensive quality of primary and secondary school students. It is of great significance for students to expand their horizon, enrich their culture and cultivate their patriotism.

The activity will contribute to improve the students’ understanding of fishing and salt culture of Qingdao High-tech Zone, and even Qingdao City.
