Recently, Shandong Federation of Trade Unions released the implementation plan on workmate entrepreneurship driving rural revitalization to motivate the enthusiasm for innovation and entrepreneurship of agricultural labor models, rural migrant workers and transferred rural labors, and take concrete actions to help implement the rural revitalization strategy.
This year, Shandong Federation of Trade Unions will provide employment and entrepreneurship training for more than 10,000 migrant workers, transferred rural labors and the needy workers, offer support to 2,000 people in starting businesses, and provide more than 300,000 person-times of targeted and accurate employment service for migrant workers, transferred rural labors and other groups.
It’s reported that the province will cultivate workmate innovation parks with focus on agricultural leading enterprises, farmers’ professional cooperatives, agricultural parks, characteristic towns and regional industrial cooperative organizations, so as to build the front-line position and work brand. The province will pick over 200 provincial workmate entrepreneurship parks and 200 provincial star migrant workers, among which 50 workmate entrepreneurship parks and 10 provincial migrant worker stars will be selected for different amount of financial support and awarded the Bellwether of Enriching People and Revitalizing Shandong Certificate.
The provincial federation of trade unions plans to appropriate a special expenditure of 17.7 million yuan for the plan as financial support. Each of the 200 provincial workmate entrepreneurship parks will be given 50,000 yuan as supporting funds, and 100,000 yuan as labor prize will be given to who are awarded the Bellwether of Enriching People and Revitalizing Shandong Certificate. In addition, the province will give 100,000 yuan to 16 provincial-level migrant worker training bases, and 10,000 yuan to 200 provincial-level migrant worker stars and 10 advanced workmates starting businesses. A total of 1.5 million yuan will be allocated to provide skills training and post matching services for 1,000 migrant workers who return to their hometowns to find jobs and start their own businesses.
