3rd International Film Festival & Awards Macao to kick off in December, feature Aaron Kwok and Yoona

With Chinese entertainer Aaron Kwok and South Korean actress Yoona as star ambassadors, the 3rd International Film Festival & Awards Macao (IFFAM) is scheduled to kick off on December 8 in Macao, the event's organizers announced on Thursday.

Opening with US film Green Book, the IFFAM is set to screen more than 51 films from over 18 countries and regions around the world, including the Golden Lion-winning Roma, US action horror flick Mandy and Indian action comedy The Man Who Feels No Pain.

A total of 11 films will screen in competition.

The IFFAM jury panel this year will be presided over by renowned Chinese director Chen Kaige and its members will include Hong Kong screenwriter Mabel Cheung, Australian director Paul Currie, Indian actress Tillotama Shome and Bosnian director Danis Tanovic.

Moreover, the festival will hold a master class with Hollywood star Nicholas Cage as the keynote speaker as well as a number of forums and business exchanges for international filmmakers.

The festival will run until December 14.
