Qingdao Academy of Opto-electronics and the Scientific and Technological Products Network of the China Academy of Sciences signed a strategic cooperation agreement recently. The signing ceremony was presided over by Wu Bin, president of Qingdao Academy of Opto-electronics. Zhan Renqing and Lv Zhen, directors of the Scientific and Technological Products Network of the CCS attended the ceremony.

The two sides, in line with the principle of "complementary advantages, platform and information sharing, win-win cooperation", will jointly explore new ways to promote the transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and foster a new scientific and technological product promotion platform both online and offline. The two sides also determined to conduct comprehensive and in-depth cooperation as well as join hands to explore new modes for the R&D and promotion of scientific and technological products.

Located in the core area of Qingdao High-tech Zone, Qingdao Academy of Opto-electronics covers a total area of 43,355 square meters and a construction area of 40,000 square meters, consisting of comprehensive office buildings, scientific research buildings, integrated testing centers, product incubation centers and other facilities.

The academy is a photoelectric engineering applied technology research institute integrating project R&D, scientific and technological achievements transfer and transformation, and scientific and technological services.
