The local standard of the construction of rural complex across Shandong was released at a press conference held in Yinan County of Linyi City, east China’s Shandong Province, on May 3, 2018.

The rural complex, first proposed in the central file No.1, is a kind of new agricultural form and mode featuring modern agriculture, leisure tourism and rural community. It is not only an important platform of cultivating new development momentum for agricultural and rural development, but also an important content for the f implementation of the strategy of rural revitalization. Shandong will take it as an opportunity to build a Shandong model of rural revitalization.

Zhujialin Rural Complex in Yinan County has been included in the first batch of pilot areas of national-level rural complex construction in 2017. It has accumulated a wealth of experience in giving support to those who go back home to run their own business, rural community construction, construction of home-stay hotel, building rural platform of innovation and entrepreneurship, and laying out and constructing rural complex.

Shandong has enacted four local regulations on the construction of the rural complex, which stop a gap in related fields in China and create a Shandong model in building rural complex.
