Recently, a special consultation between the Ministry of Science and Technology and People’s Government of Shandong Province was held to discuss the co-building of a state key laboratory of fiber formation and ecological textile of biological polysaccharide in Shandong, according to news from Qingdao Science and Technology Bureau.

A meeting summary was signed during the consultation. This will be the first key state laboratory co-sponsored by the provincial government and the ministry in Shandong.

It’s reported that state key laboratories co-sponsored by province and the ministry is one of important components of the national key laboratory system, as well as one of the significant actions of the Ministry of Science and Technology on boosting the construction of regional innovation system, improving regional independent innovation capacity and strengthening basic research.
