Qingdao Radish, Lantern and Candied Haws Fair of this year kicked off on February 24, 2018. Visitors have the opportunities to appreciate traditional folk performances like Baoding Stilts, Jiaozhou Yangko and Run Land Boat and the annual Radish Carving Match. It is believed over 60,000 visitors came to Zhushuishan Children Park on the first day of the fair.

The temple fair of this year will last to March 3 (January 16 as per the traditional Chinese calendar). Intangible cultural heritages like Liu Qiang and Mao Qiang (traditional operas popular in Qingdao), candied haws, clay figurines and lantern art, all bring back warm childhood memories of Spring Festival. There are four sites of the temple fair of this year: Zhushuishan Children Park, Modern Square, Fuyuan Square and Haiqin Square.
