Jining exploits tourist market in Jinan

In order to exploit tourist market in Jinan, Jining held a promotion event of its cultural tourism in Jinan, Shandong Province, 1 Jan., 2018.

Jinan Tourism Development Commission recommended a wealth of tourist resources and preferential tourist policies during the event and expressed warm welcome to Jinan people to travel.

Based on the cultural tourist brands of Oriental Holy Land, Shandong-style Canal and Hometown of Water Margin, Jining launched four themed tourist routes, which are Experience Travel to the Holy Land, Research Tour of Chinese Classics, Leisure Sightseeing to the Grand Canal and Weishan Lake, and Ecological Tour to the Countryside.

Besides playing the promotional film, introduction of tourist resources, distribution of promotional materials and business discussion, other activities have been arranged to publicize Jining’s tourism, including singing and dancing performances, interactive sessions with the audience, lucky draw, and so on.

During the event, Liu Chenghuo, general manager of Liangshan Scenic Area, signed a cooperative agreement with Li Sheng’e, vice general manager of Shandong Kuo Hsin Travel Agency. Yan Tao, general director of Sankong Tourism Agency, and Li Xuechao, general director of Jinan Kangtai International Travel Agency, signed a cooperative agreement.

Jinan, capital of Shandong, is not only the political, economic and cultural center of the province, but also one of important tourist markets for Jining. The total amont of tourists from Jinan to Jining ranks at the top among other places, which implies great development potential between the two sides.

In recent years, Jining has been striving to develop the tourism into a leading industry, and intensifying the marketing efforts in tourism around the several tourist brands of Jining to fully promote the transformation and upgrading of tourist industry.

The tourist industry of Jining has joined in the main battlefield of Shandong’s economic and social development and grown into a new engine of the shift in driving forces for development of tourism.

Nishan Holy Land, with 10 billion yuan of investment, will welcome its first batch of tourists in 2018, creating a new landmark and name card of Jining tourism.

In addition, Jining has endeavored to strengthen the construction of the tourist brands and development of tourist products, and forged a batch of high-profile festival activities of tourism.

The promotion event is conducted according to the proposal that led by the government, dominated by the enterprises, participated by multiple parties and operated by the market, and laid a profound foundation to the regional cooperation and win-win relations.
