Against the background of structural adjustment and supply-side reform, transformation and upgrading is the only way for the core area. Therefore, a campaign has been launched in a bid to promote the work to a new high level.

Qingdao Free Trade Port Zone was approved with a planning area of 2.5 square kilometers by the State Council in November 1992, Chu Lianyu, director of the transformation and upgrading office, told the reporter.
