The signing ceremony for German GTP Schafer riser manufacturing project was held on September 5, 2017 in the Chinese-German eco-park in Qingdao, east China’s Shandong province.

With a total investment of 5 million euros, the project is mainly engaged in the manufacturing and assembly of casting riser products featuring energy conservation and environmental protection as well as high rate of acceptability. It will be settled in the first phrase of the German small and medium-sized enterprise accelerator, renting a 2,300-square meters workshop.

German GTP, located in Grevenbroich, is the second largest enterprise in Europe specialized in the R&D, production and sale of insulating and exothermic riser castings. Last year, its sales volume reached 150 million euros, making GTP a typical “hidden champion”in the industry.

The Chinese-German eco-park strives to build a destination for German“hidden champion” enterprises. German enterprises such as Siempelkamp, PVT and Menzerna have settled in the park.
