I hope more Russian enterprises come to seek cooperation chances in Shandong,” she adds.

The special report on “seek new development with new economic engines” was held in Shandong from September 11 to 15. As a member of the media delegation, Belkova Maryna, together with over 50 Chinese and foreign editors and journalists conducted a 5-day on-site coverage in cities including Jinan, Liaocheng, Jining, Linyi and Rizhao.

Maryna studied in the Oriental department of Saint-Petersburg State University. Besides Chinese language, she also learned Chinese history and geography in Russia. She came to study Chinese for one year in Peking University when she was a senior. After that, she continued her education in Tsinghua University where she got Master’s degree in journalism.

She has been to cities of Shandong province and was impressed by Shandong residents’ hospitality and friendliness. She decided to write articles about Shandong economy and its representative enterprises, hoping to introduce more details of Shandong to Russia and attract more Russian companies to find cooperation opportunities in Shandong.
