8th Qi Heritage Fair kicks off in Zibo

The 8th Qi Heritage Fair and Private Collections Expo kicked off in Linzi District of Zibo, east China’s Shandong Province on Sept. 11, 2017.

More than ten thousands of cultural relics and artworks were exhibited on the expo, presenting the charm of Qi heritage to visitors.

The president of CPPCC Lizi District Dong Hongguang, curator of China Numismatic Musuem Huang Ciquan, deputy dean of Further Education School of Tsinghua Universtiy Guo Zhao, researcher of China National Academy of Painting and specially-appointed researcher of Chinese National Academy of Arts Li Xiaojun, dean of Art Department of School of Arts of Zhejiang International Studies University Huang He and Director of CPEC Cultural Center Xiang Yang addressed the opening ceremony of the fair respectively.

The fair donated a batch of books to Qi Heritage Museum, Cultural Relics Bureau, Archives, Library, Elderly University, Service Center and some schools of Linzi District. The awards ceremony for 3rd Literature Artists Performing Excellent Both in Skills and Moral Integrity, 8th “Happy Dancing in Linzi” Dance Contest and 6th “Elegant Qi Style” Musical Instruments Contest were held during the fair.

    

Vice chairman of Shandong Federation of Literary and Art Circles Ji Dejun, a member of Zibo Municipal Party Committee and Minister of Zibo Publicity Department Bi Rongqing and vice secretary of Lizi District Party Committee and governor of Lizi District Bai Pinghe jointly inaugurated the fair.

A series of events including relics exhibition, calligraphic exhibition, painting exhibition and photographic exhibition will be held during the fair.
