The China (Qingdao) International Fashion Week kicked off in Qingdao, east China’s Shandong Province on Sept. 15, 2017. China’s top designer Wang Yutao, M.Y.D. (a brand partner with Jackie Chan) and French designer Eric Raisina co-presented a visual feast for the audience in the premiere of the fashion week.

The event attracted over 300 guests from media, universities, research agency, industry institutions and enterprises. Gao Yanmin, the director of the Department of Consumer Goods of MIIT of PRC，Sun Huaibin, the vice president of China National Textile And Apparel Council and Aili, the deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology co-inaugurated the fashion week.

A group of designers from France, Thailand, Japan, and Macao, led by Chinese top designer Wang Yutao, will present 11 top-level fashion shows in the square of Qingdao Olympic Sailing Opera Theatre. Besides, 11 brand shows will be held in other three venues. Under the background of transforming old growth drivers to the new, a design forum with the theme of “To Transform the Tradition into Fashion” will be held to promote the innovation and development of fashion industry.

The China (Qingdao) International Fashion Week will give full play of the city’s predominance and advantages in fashion industry, give prominence to the market-driven operation pattern, keep an eye on the differentiation development orientation of “Rising Power” to showcase the great efficiency of this national-level exhibition platform.
