The opening ceremony of Qilu Entrepreneurship Training Camp was help on 12 April in Jinan, east China’s Shandong Province. Principals from over 460 SMEs will go to Beijing and Zhejiang in batches to accept the training. It’s said that Shandong plans to invest 22.5 million yuan to train over 1500 principals of SMEs within three years so as to help enterprises develop toward a higher level.
“Most of us——principals of SMEs——lack management experience, especially group construction. We need more specialized guidance and training,” said Wu Nan, general manager of a footwear company of Linyi. Wu Nan said he took a roundabout route during the past eight years for lack of professional guidance. The government-funded training camp is a great opportunity for him to promote himself.
The camp was jointly initiated by Human Resources and Social Security Department of Shandong Province, Shandong Federation of Trade Unions, Shanodng Communist Youth Leagues and Shandong Women’s Federation, aiming at developing innovative economy, accelerating the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries and cultivating talents on entrepreneurship.
“The camp is a high-level training specially opened for principals of innovation-oriented SMEs. We selected three reliable and reputable special training institutions via government procurement ——Entrepreneur’s Training Camp of Peking University, Zhejiang University and Hopefound Group, as our fixed training institutions. Besides, a batch of influential scholars, entrepreneurs and investors will be invited to give lessons,” said Xia Luqing, vice director of Human Resources and Social Security Department of Shandong Province. “The training will be presented in a “5+6” model, that is, 5 intensive lessons plus 6 months’ follow-up support service.
From the view of training content, except the business management knowledge, the training still includes knowledge on brand construction, investment logic and information, industry development and intelligent trade to adapt for this Internet Plus and Big Data era.
