Shandong eyes integrated provincial online government service platform

The government office of Shandong province released its work plan on the promotion of Internet plus government services on Mar. 14, deciding to establish a primary integrated provincial online government service platform by the end of 2017.

Shandong government service website, the provincial government service platform, was put into operation in Dec. 2105. However, the online service at present is inefficient and the information features low-level sharing. Shandong makes great efforts to regulate the items of government affairs and service.

From May 2017, Shandong will start to compile the directory listings of the public services at the provincial, municipal and county-level as well as the list of administrative power at the village and township level. Before the end of 2017, the items of government service should be published on government portal websites and in the service hall of government affairs at the county level and above. Dynamic regulation will ensure the consistency of the content of online information.

Shandong province plans to optimize government service and streamline online service process. Such service items are set to be applied and dealt with. For example, feedback of online enterprise registration, education and medical care, social security, labor employment and housing security.

Before the end of 2017, an administrative penalty will be conducted online.
