Siwin Foods Group (Siwin), founded in 1996, is mainly engaged in processing low-temperature meat products. Over the past decade, Siwin has developed into a modern business group, integrating production with research and sales, and has edged into the global market. It has invested and started business in Canada and next year its products will be marketed in America and Japan. Then Siwin plans to extend its reach to the European market, thereby achieving its strategy of globalization.

It is a lot harder than it looks to invest abroad. Siwin Food Ltd., founded in Alberta, Canada, is the first Chinese meat producer investing abroad. But it was stuck from emerging due to the differences in diets andcultures between China and Western countries and foreigners’prejudice for Chinese food.

In order to win the trust of local markets, the staff of Siwin spares no efforts to seek for cooperation with local supermarkets, despite being denied repeatedly. After three years of efforts, Siwin has finally been recognized by those supermarkets and won more markets with a good word of mouth in western countries in its own right.

Even so, differences in diets between Chinese and Canadian cultures still exist. What Siwin did was merged with local life into a new food brand that suits local people’s tastes. With several new products, Siwin spent a month catering to Western taste buds. These new products were marketed in Canada and were successful. Siwin astounds the world and gain itself a firm foot land abroad.

Siwin hasn’t stopped racing ahead and is forming its own style with technical integration in toasted sausagewith Italy, Germany and France Chinese brands are finding their new voice back again on the international stage.
