2016 Qingdao (China) PPP Forum was held in Huanghai Hotel on June 21 and 22. Experienced experts from the UN, World’s Bank, UK and other countries and regions, together with relevant people at home gathered to discuss the theme of “PPP and new-style urbanization”. In recent years, Qingdao has been actively working on the application of PPP pattern, establishing PPP reserves holding 86 PPP projects worth about a total 242 billion yuan, including rectification of coastal line of the Jiaozhou Bay, establishment of Jiaodong airport and subway, etc.

　　The forum is co-sponsored by Tsinghua University, Qingdao People’s Government and China International Engineering Consulting Corporation and organized by Tshinghua University PPP Research Center. China PPP Forum will be held each year with different themes in Qingdao, a coastal city of Shandong Province, and gather the most authoritative experts at home and abroad to forge itself the highest-level international PPP forum.

　　There is still a fairly large demand for capital of public service in Qingdao. Next, Qingdao City will positively promote PPP and other new patterns to intensify the construction of facility and service system, offer citizens the more perfect and high-quality public service.
