Daily life of Chinese peacekeeping police riot squad in Liberia

  Members of the third Chinese peacekeeping police riot squad for mission in Liberia arrived at Yaoqiang International Airport in Jinan, the capital of east China's Shandong province, March 12, 2016 after a one-year U.N. peacekeeping mission. This squad is made up of field police officers for Shandong Public Security Frontier Corps.

  During their stay in Liberia, the squad completed more than 70 missions such as providing security services for Liberia's Independence Day, escorting goods to certain places and exploring possible routes. Moreover, they also carry out more than 300 patrols.

  In recent days, the squad was awarded a first-class merit by China's Ministry of Public Security.
