DSME Shandong creates happiness and dreams

  Vice general-manager Tian Gengzhong gave a brief introduction of DSME Shandong.

  On September 17, members of the tour of “Shandong Goes Ahead in the China-South Korea FTA” coverage activity visited DSME Shandong Co,. Ltd, which is solely funded by South Korean DSME. DSME has invested a total of 360 million yuan so far.

  DSME Shandong has expanded its business from the single production of bulk carrier segments to varieties of products including container vessel segments, supertanker segments, LPG carrier segments and steel structure of offshore platforms.

  The China-South Korea FTA was signed on June 1 and the China-South Korea Industrial Park, having drawn the attention of the public, was written in the framework of the China-South Korea FTA. The construction of the China-South Korea Industrial Park will bring more chances for DSME to enter the market, according to Tian Gengzhong, vice general-manager of DSME Shandong. Yantai city is not only the starting point of the “One Belt One Road” strategic planning but also the bridgehead of the China-South Korea FTA. The two countries will cooperate in a deeper way to realize their dreams, said Tian Gengzhong. Seizing the opportunity of the China-South Korea Industrial Park, DSME Shandong aims to be a shipbuilding enterprise that creates happiness and dreams.
